Hi! I’m Ashrita (she/her).
Econometrician by training, social scientist by disposition, storyteller by choice.
Today, I’d call myself medium-agnostic, discovering and retelling stories from history, politics, gender, culture and climate.
I think of a story as a ‘milles crêpes’ — multiple layers, each serving a small purpose but when put together, explain one whole complex topic.
And each layer I craft intentionally, with deep regard and care, to engage a different sense — sight, sound, word and touch — allowing the story to root in multiple places, shape-shift, and challenge ephemerality.
